Burglary Attorneys In Indiana

Indiana law defines burglary as breaking into and entering a building with the intent of theft. Someone may be accused of breaking into a person‘s home to take their electronics, jewelry or cash assets. This is different from related offenses, such as trespassing. It is important to note that force is not necessarily required. For instance, if a business leaves a door unlocked and someone enters without authorization and steals assets, they could still be accused of burglary and breaking and entering, even though they did not have to use force.
